The texture and texture of one kind of material is a common pattern in the public psychology, but if one kind of material is used in the design to show the texture or technology of another kind of material, it will inevitably bring a new visual experience to the viewer. The same plastic material as Figure 2 shows the winding state of wire or vine very well, allowing the entire modern lighting to reveal the ecological implications. In the process of modern lighting creation, the collision between material and material often produces wonderful effects. Breaking the conventional material combination is also one of the new creative ways.

Modern lighting innovation is often a response to social trends. In an unfamiliar environment, the use of new materials and the development of their unrealized potential will lead to significant innovative results in the design of modern lighting. New materials include two kinds, one is a new material, the fusion of technology and art, full of unknown exploration. Its natural stretchability and light transmittance of textile materials determine that it can be drawn into complex forms, and light can be diffused through polyester fabric into the surrounding space. The lamps and lanterns made of textile materials are more hierarchical in appearance. The other material itself may not be new, but their fancy usage can be new.

Lamps and lanterns in the same room should be unified in style, material and color. At the same time, attention should also be paid to the indoor space occupied objects (furniture, electrical appliances, etc.) modeling, color formation and other general keynote, to be in harmony with the style of lamps and lanterns. For example, simple modern interior design, more suitable for the same design style of modern lighting, only a unified style to create good lighting and decorative effect. The current modern style of lighting is very diverse, there are metal, ceramic, glass, fabric, etc., the texture of lamps and lanterns to consider from the whole style, in order to create a different atmosphere. For example, the use of glass lamps can create a light, delicate atmosphere, the use of inscribed, chrome-plated metal lamps can show a strong sense of modernity, and natural materials often give a simple sense of intimacy.

In addition, the living room generally chooses a heavy, bright chandelier or ceiling lamp. If the room is higher, appropriate to use incandescent chandelier or a larger circular chandelier, so that the living room appears transparent. If the room is low, you can use ceiling lamp and floor lamp, so that the living room appears bright and generous, with a sense of the times. The lighting of the study should be based on the principle of brightness and softness.
